Home page.
On this page are schematic diagrams of the tiles directly supported in this OpenSCAD code. Each section of the table has a header indicating in which directory the tiles' OpenSCAD code is found. A tile that is its own mirror-image is colored in green; a reflective pair is colored in blue and red.
Within the OpenSCAD module describing any tile, the square with the capital letter has coördinates (0, 0), and adjoining squares have coördinates according to the following table:
| (0, +2)
|
|
(−2, 0)
| A
| (+2, 0)
|
| (0, −2)
|
|
Within the module, the coördinates of the squares always use even integers, but the connecting elements, which are not shown in these schematics, will sometimes use odd integers. However, the tile as a whole may be placed at a non-integral location; and it may also be rotated through an arbitrary angle, although multiples of 90 degrees will usually be chosen.
In the tables below, each section is headed by the name of a directory that contains two kinds of files:
- one file for inclusion, containing the modules to produce several tiles;
- several files each containing a short program to print one tile.
As an example, directory tiles_F_21_25 contains eleven files:
- include_F_21_25.scad which has the modules for printing ten tiles;
- print_F_21p.scad, print_F_21q.scad, print_F_22p.scad, and seven others to initialize OpenSCAD to print individual tiles.
